Parts Washers

A Cuda parts washer is a closed cabinet that sprays hot water and detergent over parts on a turning table while your tech does other work. There is no solvent tank and no hand scrubbing. Front-load models take parts up to 5,000 lb; top-load models handle 250 to 500 lb.

Measure your biggest part and weigh your heaviest load before you call. Those two numbers pick the machine.

The part has to fit the turntable diameter and the working height. Front-load Cudas run from a 25-inch table at 30 inches high (the 2530) to a 72-inch table at 72 inches high (the 7272), with load ratings from 500 to 5,000 lb. Top-load models use a 22 to 25 inch table and carry 250 to 500 lb; the SJ holds parts still in a basket and spins the spray arm instead.

Front or top? A front-load cabinet has a roll-in door, and Cuda's sheets say it keeps wash water off the shop floor. A top-load is smaller and fits a tight shop.

Then power. Only the 2412 and 2216 come in 115V. The 3648 and larger are three phase only, with two 9 kW heaters. The 4860, 7248 and 7272 ship on a flatbed, so plan how you will unload one.

One more thing from Cuda's sheets: the 90-day labor warranty becomes one year when you use Cuda's own detergents exclusively. Ask us about parts washer detergent when you order.

What it's for

  • Truck, fleet and equipment shops cleaning engine and drivetrain parts
  • Hydraulics, aviation maintenance and manufacturing shops replacing a solvent tank
  • Any shop where a tech's time scrubbing parts is billable time lost

What it's not for

  • Parts too large for a 72-inch table or 72-inch working height: that is pressure washer work
  • A shop with only 115V service that needs a front-load model (front-load Cudas start at 208V)

What are you cleaning?

Tell us the job in your own words. A person at the counter calls you and starts with the problem. Nobody pitches a machine until we understand the job.

A dead burner, a citation, a bid due Friday. Your words.
How do we reach you? A phone or an email is enough.
A few more questions (optional)
Downtime, labor, a lost bid. A rough idea is fine.
Brand, model, age if you know it.

Here's what happens next: The Pacoima counter calls you within one business hour, or emails you if you leave no number. The call is 15 minutes. We ask what's going wrong, how you plan to pay, and who else weighs in. At the end we set a next step, or tell you straight that we're not the right shop. Nobody pitches anything until we understand the job.
