Steam Cleaners

A steamer cleans with heat and very little water, so there is little runoff to catch. We sell Optima steamers from Steamericas in diesel and electric models, with stainless models for food and beverage plants.

Steam earns its place where water is the problem. If runoff is hard to contain, or you clean commercial kitchens, food plants and stainless tanks, steam does the job with a fraction of the water. The Optima leaves no wastewater runoff and uses no chemicals.

Four questions settle which one. Do you have power where you clean, or do you need the diesel model? Do two people need to work at once? The Optima DMF runs two spray guns and holds steam pressure and heat with both in use. Does the machine touch food contact surfaces? Then ask for the stainless models. And do you also need pressure to strip mud or heavy buildup? Steam alone will be slow there.

If the honest answer is that you need both, look at a hot water pressure washer with a steam option. The Alkota Gas Fired series lists one, rated 60 to 270 gallons per hour of steam depending on the model, and the Hotsy HSS and All American Natural Gas brochures list a steam option too.

We do not publish Optima model specs on this site yet. Call or send a quote request and we will send the current sheet for the model that fits.

What it's for

  • Places where runoff is hard to capture or not allowed
  • Food and beverage plants, commercial kitchens and stainless tanks (stainless models)
  • Stains, odors, mold and grease where you want to clean without chemicals

What it's not for

  • Heavy mud, caked buildup or large flat areas where you need flow and pressure
  • Fleet washing at volume: a hot water pressure washer covers more ground per hour

What are you cleaning?

Tell us the job in your own words. A person at the counter calls you and starts with the problem. Nobody pitches a machine until we understand the job.

A dead burner, a citation, a bid due Friday. Your words.
How do we reach you? A phone or an email is enough.
A few more questions (optional)
Downtime, labor, a lost bid. A rough idea is fine.
Brand, model, age if you know it.

Here's what happens next: The Pacoima counter calls you within one business hour, or emails you if you leave no number. The call is 15 minutes. We ask what's going wrong, how you plan to pay, and who else weighs in. At the end we set a next step, or tell you straight that we're not the right shop. Nobody pitches anything until we understand the job.
